What does the name "Case Amber" mean?

"Case Amber" is a reference to the United States' War Plan Yellow (dealing with a war in China) and Germany's Case Yellow (the 1940 invasion of France). The Case Amber setting also essentially has two distinct Cold Wars that draws connections to both. One is in Asia which is centered heavily on China, between the southern Republic of China supported by the United States and the northern People's Republic of China supported by the Soviet Union. The other is in Europe, between the Entente led by the United Kingdom and France balancing Weimar Germany (which still holds heavy revanchist sentiments against Poland and France in particular) and the Soviet Union (which seeks the glory of the old Russian Empire and to diminish Poland).

What is the Case Amber logo?

The Case Amber logo is a figurehead for mounting on the bow of a ship depicting a woman armed with a spear, wearing a Phrygian/liberty cap and bearing Chinese standards depicting the Azure Dragon.
